How to rank a Website ?

According to me, the real answer depends on the following analysis made by me.

• The type of site that is new site or existing site.
• How competitive the keywords and the industry are? This means are you using appropriate keywords and analyzing your competitor and there keywords on which they are ranking. 
• The popularity of site that is household name (very common keywords that are used normally by everyone) versus a brand (generating their own keywords) that is trying to get established (This process will take time).
• Where the site is ranking for your targeted keywords.
• What you are trying to get ranked for (Do you want to rank for local search means within in a particular are or on Google based voice search).

Time Analysis for the brand new website:-

1. For Brand New sites-

• If you are trying to get ranked on high competitive keywords it will take 9 to 12 months or more to get ranked by using pue SEO techniques (This is the bitter truth). 
• If you are trying to rank for no competitive keywords then it will take six or more than six months to get ranked on the first page I am not talking about the first rank. 

2. For Existing/Old sites-

• If you are trying to get ranked on high competitive keywords it will take 3 to 6 months to get ranked.
• If you are trying to rank for non-competitive keywords then it will take 1 or less then 1 month to rank by using pure SEO techniques.

This is the one of the most asked question by everyone and I had tried my level best to answer this question in a quite effective way.
