• Google provides a free website in the GMB for those businesses which do not have any website as the website has a huge impact as visitors can see online your visibility and can get valuable content from the website.
• Google My Business posts are not the social media posts and you have up to 1,500 characters for the details of your post, but the ideal length is between 150 and 300 characters, so use these characters wisely.

Steps to create a Google My Business Listing-

• Step 1- Open the new tab and type "Google My business". 

• Step 2- Then the following page will appear and you have to click the first link on this page.

• Step 3- When you open the website then you will have to click on manage now option as given in the picture. 

• Step 4- For the Sign Up you will require a Gmail account.   

• Step 5- Then you will have to write your business name which is to be shown in search results on google searches and maps. 

• Step 6- In this step, you will have to define the category of your business as under which category your business falls. 

• Step 7- Through this step, you can tell Google that if you want to show your business location to the visitors or not. 

• Step 8- This is an optional step in which you will have to tell where do you provide your the services to the customers is it location-oriented or worldwide you can define here.

• Step 9- In this step, you have to tell the google that in which area your business is located.

• Step 10- Here you have to give your phone number and put the link of your website on google or tell google that whether you need any website or not or the other option is to allow Google to create your website which is totally free of cost.    

• Step 11- When you finish all the steps.

• Step 12- Then you have to put your address so that google can mail you a letter post by which you can verify your listing or you can also verify it later."The address is not shown publicly as it is for the letter only".

• Step 13- Then you will see this type of dashboard when you finally get listed.

• Step 14- This is the builtin powerful option provided by google business to advertise your website.
