What is Google Page Rank?

  • Google page rank is a calculation, which evaluates the quality and quantity of links to a webpage to determine a relative score of that page's importance and authority on a 0 to 10 scale.
  • The link analysis algorithm starts from 0 to 10 and is used by a search engine.
  • Determines the relative importance of a link within their database.
  • Usually, 3rd-page rank is provided to every new website.
  • Google re-evaluates page rank after a period of 3 to 4 months approximately 3 times a year.
  • It is one of the variables used by Google to determine how high your site will be placed in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERP).
  • A recent algorithm is Panda 4.0 which is used by Google to give the page ranks.
